Considering the advertisements etc on luxury SWISS tents, we decided to stay overnight at this camp.
Absolutely there is nothing special about this camp except for the convenient camel ride for the sunset. On the dunes, many local boys are selling beer, soft drinks etc. Some Rajasthani women (read women, not girls) put up a nice traditional dance for a small tip. All this put together makes it wonderful memorable experience.
The dinner buffett is done is small mud thatched courtyard with local dances etc. Good way to spend the evening but could be skipped.
Cleanliness is where these camps ( i checked others as well next morning) is pathetic. Bedsheets have holes, smell. No hot water in shower. Leaking toilet hoses.
Best to spend the 1st night of your trip in Jaisalmer here and leave next morning to check in a hotel in Jaisalmer and freshen up there.
